I am in search of a way to convert multiple selections in a drop-down list into a single field with the selections separated by a semicolon. Background: I need to get contact data into a specific format that is importable into a particular on-line software app. I was contemplating having a user-friendly template that a user would complete; the template would push the data entered by the user into the importable format. One of the challenging items is group assignments for the contacts being imported. The group assignments vary by contact so the ability to select a subset of the available group assignments is important. As a simple example, possible groups to which a contact could be assigned include General Correspondence, Capital Calls and Tax Documents. If a contact needs to be assigned to the first two groups then I need to import a field populated with the value "General Correspondence;Capital Calls". While attending a recent Wall Street Training seminar I briefly discussed this issue with the instructor. We touched on potentially using Boolean options as a possible solution. Due to time constraints we were not able to fully resolve the issue. I am hoping that you can provide a little more direction in the use of Boolean options to solve my issue. Thanks.
