New Conditional Formatting Question

I want to conditionally format a range of cells in a manner that if the value is >5% than the cell to the left, it is green, and if it is <5% then the cell to the left, it is red. Let's say that you put 5% as your hard coded threshold in cell A1. In cell A3 you have the comparison figure. and in cell B3 you have a label or whatever you want to be formatted based on the A3 value. Same concept.
Alter your formula as follows.
Assume your numbers are in row 2 and A1 is the 5%:

=B2>=A2*(1+$A$1) format as green
=B2<A2*(1+$A$1) format as red

Think outside the box!

Yes you can. Select the block of cells/data you want to apply the conditional formatting to. Take note of the row that your active cell is on when you finish selecting.
