I am modeling out an private equity sponsored LBO of public company - using the construct of the core model. Naturually I have historical financials - in addition I have a proforma income statement and balance sheet -- to reflect the go-forward position of the company. I am having difficulty getting the model to balance. Are there some general pointers you can offer up? I am starting the debt sweep as of the date given for on the PF balance sheet. I was also given a Preliminary Purchase Price Allocation Schedule. My guess is that it has something to do with the shareholders equity section of my projected balance sheet and/or the CF from financing section of my CF statement. Thank you.
